Biography:

The Green Goblin is a recurring villain in Marvel Comics, most notably associated with Spider-Man. While multiple characters have taken on the Green Goblin persona, the most famous is Norman Osborn.

Norman Osborn, a brilliant but unstable industrialist, sought to enhance his intellect and power. An experimental formula granted him superhuman abilities but also drove him to madness.

Driven insane, Osborn adopted the Green Goblin persona, donning a grotesque mask and using advanced technology like a Goblin Glider and pumpkin bombs. He quickly became one of Spider-Man's most dangerous and personal enemies.

The Green Goblin first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #14 (July 1964).
